I have been majorly slacking! Can I blame the fact that I'm hosting Thanksgiving for my parents and brother? That's not why, though. How about that I went to visit my adorable Volpe nieces while they stayed with their grandparents? I'm choosing that. Not much to anybody's surprise, eating at the Metcalf house continues. See? Note those beautiful vegetables. There was yellow saffron rice served as well, but honestly, the picture is just dull. I can just about promise there will be pictures from Thanksgiving - keep the anticipation alive! And just so you know, we're shaking things up. Not untraditional, but not traditional either. There will be turkey, but it will be Salvadorian turkey. There will be stuffing, but blue corn stuffing with chorizo (thanks to Neil). I hope the pictures will leave you drooling.
